First Line: While the angels sang hosannas
Last Line: And the stars watched in the sky.

While the angels sang hosannas!
And the stars in glory span,
When the lambs slept on the meadows
Then was born the Son of man:
Sweet, His mother in the shadows
Leant, and sang a lullaby,
While the lambs slept on the meadows,
