BYE-LO-BYE, by EDITH M. DELABY First Line: Bye-lo, my baby, soon you will go Last Line: Dawning greets dreamland's sweet bye-lo-bye. | |||
Bye-lo, my baby, soon you will go Drifting o'er films of happy bye-lo, In your dreams flying through hazy dells, To flowery lands where love ever dwells. Slumber on while the silvery moon Hovers above, while softly I croon Lullabies, dreamy of slumberland, While stars are forming their twinkling band. Bye-lo, in slumber dream happy dreams, Which will come drifting through moonlight beams. Slumberland, dreamland, soon they will fly, Dawning greets dreamland's sweet bye-lo-bye. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...TO THE MEMORY OF INEZ MILHOLLAND by GEORGIA DOUGLAS JOHNSON LAST LINES OF THOMAS INGOLDSBY by RICHARD HARRIS BARHAM THREE SONGS OF LOVE (CHINESE FASHION): 3.
