IN TUSCANY: STRAMBOTTI: 1, by
First Line: O wind, that hath my stars, come back to me
Last Line: And what is lost therein shall rise no more.

O Wind, that hath my stars, come back to me,
And place them in my heart as once before.
O dove-white Peace, give back, give back the key,
That I may thus unlock thy fast-closed door.
O Love, why art thou like a bitter sea,
Casting thy bitter weeds upon my shore?
O Stars, the wind hath drowned thee in that sea,
And what is lost therein shall rise no more.
