COMFORT FOR WALKERS, by                     Poet's Biography
First Line: Ne'er did triptolemus in his chariot rise
Last Line: But studs and wheels demand a spacious road.
Subject(s): Walking

Ne'er did Triptolemus in his chariot rise,
Nor Castor mount on horse-back to the skies.
On foot the strait way may be safely trod,
But studs and wheels demand a spacious road.
