IN YONDER BAY, by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD Poet's Biography First Line: In yonder bay the waves find rest Last Line: Before I die. Alternate Author Name(s): Radford, Ernest, Mrs. | |||
IN yonder bay the waves find rest, They die along the great shore's breast, With one low sound Of longing for the fuller breeze Which rode across the trackless seas, And swept them round. Ah, love, if I might find their rest, Might end my wanderings on thy breast, I should not sigh For fuller life, so I might stay My heart's throb on thy heart some day, Before I die. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...A BALLAD OF VICTORY by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A BRIDE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A CONCERT by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A DREAM OF 'DREAMS' by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A MODEL by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A MODERN POLYPHEME by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A NOVEMBER ROSE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A NOVICE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A PORTRAIT by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A PRAYER by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD |
