SONG: 32, by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD Poet's Biography First Line: Why seems the world so fair Last Line: When we meet there. Alternate Author Name(s): Radford, Ernest, Mrs. | |||
WHY seems the world so fair, Why do I sing? Why? in the meadow there When it was Spring, There when all fair things were Clearer to see, All the young dreams I'd lost Came back to me. I may not enter now, But there's a Spring Somewhere beyond the sun. So I can sing, So I can wait and sing, While I prepare My soul to welcome thine, When we meet there. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...A BALLAD OF VICTORY by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A BRIDE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A CONCERT by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A DREAM OF 'DREAMS' by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A MODEL by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A MODERN POLYPHEME by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A NOVEMBER ROSE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A NOVICE by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A PORTRAIT by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD A PRAYER by DOLLIE CAROLINE MAITLAND RADFORD |
