WHO WALKS IN FEAR, by BYRON HERBERT REECE First Line: Who walks in fear along this bitter way Last Line: To walk with him and hold him by the hand. | |||
Who walks in fear along this bitter way That leads I know not where in this strange land Had better have someone to hold his hand And comfort him with words, for in a day His dreams can leave like cattle gone astray That can't be found again; and in a night All stars he knew can vanish from his sight And leave him lost unless one's hand can stay The fear that rises in him like a cry, A lover's who can rise up with the sun And walk with surety in this strange land.
